Katharine is a graduate of the University of Charleston with a degree in Business Administration. She began her insurance career in June of 2007 when she joined MSIA as a Personal Lines Representative. In 2008 Katharine was promoted to the commercial business lines department as a customer service representative. In 2009 she assumed the additional responsibility of commercial claims management for Mountain State.
Katharine is actively pursuing the AIC (Associate in Claims) designation. She was the first in West Virginia to earn the ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) in both commercial and personal lines. In addition, Katharine has earned the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and CWCS (Certified Worker’s Compensation Specialist) designations.
Katharine lives in Charleston and has three college age children; Courtney, Will, and Morgan. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and working on stained glass projects.
